STEBBINS, RONALD, 67
Ocala - Ronald David Stebbins, 67 passed away on January 19, 2012 at the Summerfield Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron was born in Ocala, Florida on December 28, 1944 to parents Emily (Billings) and Arnold Stebbins. Ron graduated from Ocala High School in 1962 and then joined the Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1965 after serving in Vietnam and specializing in Cryptology. After serving, Ron began work for Skyline Mobile Home. He eventually moved to Sarasota, Florida and was production manager for Sarasota and Bradenton Skyline Mobile Home Division. In 1980, he moved his family to Belleview and opened a cabinet business and eventually, Unlimited Auto Repair, which he ran until being diagnosed with cancer. Ron spent the last weeks of his life visiting with scores of friends (many from his childhood in Ocala), extended family, family friends and his beloved children and grandchildren. Ron loved race cars, fishing, baseball, coaching baseball and crossword puzzles and was an avid Gator fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic church and frequently attended Blessed Trinity Catholic Church with his children. He was loved and will be greatly missed by those who survive him including his children; three daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Michael Bianculli, Stephanie and Steven Johnson and Jennifer and David Eck and his son Mark Stebbins. He is also survived by his nine precious grandchildren; Gerald, Garret, Emily, Ethan, Justin, Joseph, Claire, Katherine and Michael. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth and his parents. Visitation will take place on January 23, 2012 at Heirs-Baxley Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and a funeral mass will be celebrated January 24, 2012 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 Southeast 17th Street, Ocala, FL at 11:00 am.
